I have the hardest time with getting mascara to stay on my lashes. My skin is oily and somehow, my mascara migrates from the lashes to my under-eyes. At the end of the day, I look like the classic girl in a swimming pool, black everywhere. Sometimes, I catch my reflection mid-day and say, “What the heck? How long have I looked like this?”. Do any of you have this problem? I wanted to try another brand and see how it compared. I was provided some Mia Adora 3D Fiber Lash at a steep discount and was asked to review the product. Don’t worry, these opinions are all my own.
My criteria for a good mascara is:
1. How easy is it to apply?
2. How is the volume?
3. How is the length?
4. How does it wear through the day?
So, how does Mia Adora 3D Fiber Lash rate?
1. Ease
Compared to regular ol’ mascara from the grocery store, the application is a bit more lengthy. However, when you see the results, I doubt that you will care about that extra 60 seconds. With the Fiber Lash, each coat is ready by the time you can dip your next wand, but they say for the best wear all day long, give it 20 seconds to dry.
2. & 3. Volume and Length
Pictures say a thousand words right? I give it a A++ in both categories. Look at the difference after applying it to one eye.
4. Wearability
Summertime is the perfect time to put any mascara to the test. After wearing it all day long in the heat, no black eyes here. When the product dries, it feels secure almost slightly rubbery, not oily. The water resistant is perfect for my oily skin and summer sweat.
How are the wands? Great! They are shaped well to control the application of the gel and fibers.
First, you apply the black gel with this contoured brush.
Next you apply the fibers with this straight wand.
The fibers stick to the gel and build up the lash.
Last, after waiting about 20 seconds while the first coat and fibers dry/bond together, you coat it one more time with the black gel. This holds the fibers in place and adds on more pass of volume and length.
Overall, I am pleased with this mascara and I would definitely recommend it.
