Homemade Crumbly Butterfinger Topping in the Microwave

Homemade Butterfinger in the Microwave

Don’t you just love Butterfingers? I sure do. The sweet flaky peanut butter crisp.. mmmm.  I am ecstatic that I have found yet another “microwave” recipe that works! I guess I should not say found, because I really just made it up. I tried making a homemade Butterfinger recipe last year that completely flopped, but I had a general idea of what to do this time. That first batch turned out harder than Butterfinger Brittle and was sure to break my teeth if I tasted it. This time, I winged it. I put 2/3 c Candy Corn in a Pyrex Measuring Cup, and added 1/3 c. Peanut Butter.Homemade Butterfinger in the Microwave Then, I microwaved it for 30 seconds at a time. It took the mixture 4, 30 second rounds to look like this once stirred. The mixture will be smooth and crackly like this. Homemade Butterfinger in the Microwave5 I smashed it down to let it cool. What am I going to do with all of this?

  • Butterfinger Shakes
  • Butterfinger Cupcakes
  • Butterfinger Rice Krispy Treats
  • Butterfinger Hot Cocoa

What other things could I sprinkle this Homemade Crumbly Butterfinger Topping in the Microwave on?
