Give More Without Changing a Thing

BOX TOP HEADER

Did you read my post last week about Box Tops?

I remember when I was in school, the school had a box top drive. The whole school was challenged to bring in every single box top that they could. When we met our goal, we got a new playground section for recess. It was a BIG deal for us. Our school even made it fun by lettings us participate and vote for what we wanted.

I went through my pantry and found fourteen box tops! If I have that much in my pantry, how much could I have been giving to the schools near me for the last five years? A little bit can build quickly when you think of how much we consume. Right now, there are Bonus Box Tops offer on select General MillsĀ® product! You can get up to 5 box tops per package.

This is what we did with them:

I cut them out, placed them in an envelope and delivered them to the neighbors. Now they can start stocking up for back to school. Happy campers!

I dare you to check your pantry and fridge. Look for that label and see how much you can be giving back by not changing anything at all.

If you don’t have kids, find a kid to start sending them to school with. They will be happy, and the school will be happy. Maybe it will make you feel good enough to start looking for those labels on the products that you buy.

I will definitely be looking for labels.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of General MillsĀ®. The opinions and text are all mine.
