“One Dough To Rule Them All” Recipe Roundup

One dough to rule them all 2

As you may have seen on our social media websites, or on KSL Studio 5 with Brook Walker, we are excited to be a part of Pinners Conference. It is on Nov. 7th and 8th at the South Towne Expo Center in Salt Lake City. We presented a class called One Dough To Rule Them All”. In this class we featured a single, 5 INGREDIENT bread dough recipe that will enable both bread making novices and Betty Crockers, to make all types of homemade sweet and savory breads, from start to finish, in UNDER ONE HOUR!  Yes, all kinds of hot breads, on the table, in UNDER ONE HOUR! With the Holiday season upon us, this is an invaluable class to attend, as this time of year screams home baked goods!

Here is our roundup of recipes currently on our blog using this one amazingly versatile dough recipe. Now you can see why we call it “One Dough To Rule Them All”!

  1. When I click on the link for your “One Dough To Rule Them All,” it comes up as “Mama’s Best Pizza Dough.” A picture below the article has a link for the pizza dough recipe.
Is there a link for the “5 ingredient BREAD dough?” I queried you site to find it and the other link that comes up: “One Dough To Rule Them All” is http://themamasgirls.com/?s=One+Dough+To+Rule+Them+All which does not include any links to the bread dough recipe either!
I’m a bread dough novice (in using yeast) and would really love to have this recipe to start with so I can create recipes to make my own.
    Please HELP!

    1. Hi Jayne! The 5 ingredient bread dough is our Mama’s Best Pizza Dough 🙂 You can use it in many different ways: pizza crust, artisan bread, breadsticks, etc. That is why we love it so much! Let us know how it goes 🙂

  2. I was interested in the recipe but your site is not user friendly. I really wish when you come to this “recipe” it would show the recipe and not just pictures. I hope this helps you to improve your site. Good Luck!

    1. Hi Michell, The One Dough to Rule Them All post was a roundup post from our class at Pinners Conference. Roundup posts are typically a list of previous posts that all fit into one convenient category. The pictures shown are actually links to all of the recipes using our signature dough. If you click on the picture it takes you to the recipe for each of the items shown. Sorry if that was confusing. Thanks for the feedback, and we will definitely see what we can do to make it more clear that you need to click on the picture for the recipes.

      1. Hi Deb, I am not sure if you saw a previous follow up comment, but wanted to follow up directly. Thanks for helping to point out a flow error on our site. I admit it is confusing and we will remedy that. For now, if you go to http://themamasgirls.com/mamas-best-pizza-dough/ (PIZZA DOUGH RECIPE is the 5 INGREDIENT “ONE DOUGH TO RULE THEM ALL”). Do you have any more questions or problems navigating?

  3. Mamma Marie, I made this dough and was blown away! It tasted amazing, but I do have a complaint. It was soooo good that I lost all control and ate way too much! Do you have a recipe that is maybe not quite as good so that I would eat less? I would appreciate it.
