Bring out the “Super” in Your Kids

September 5, 2015 by Becky

Bring out the -Super- in Your Kids

Throughout the summer and especially before my grandkids go back to school, I like to get them all together. It can get a bit crazy with all of them here, but the main purpose is to help create lasting memories and create “super” moments with their cousins! Most kids would rather do something creative than be parked in front of the TV, and I believe that kids gain their self worth by accomplishing something. These little moments add up to bring out the “super” in kids!

Bring out the Super in Your Kids 1

When my grandkids were here visiting, I set out some paint pots, pipe cleaners, beads, origami paper, you know, the basics. We call it “crafternoon!”

It’s amazing to see what these kids can come up with. They have much better imaginations that I do. When their projects are complete, they display them proudly and we all oooh and aaah and celebrate their achievements! My 7-year-old grandson said “I’m really good at being creative!”

After their projects are finished, the kids are hungry for a snack. They want something tasty, and my daughters, their moms, always appreciate it when I give them something healthy. I feel so clever feeding them a combined serving of fruits & veggies and they love it! (You know that kids can be the pickiest of eaters and it’s hard to get them to eat their vegetables!)

Del Monte 3

Del Monte has come up with a “fusion” of tasty and healthy!  This is Del Monte’s latest product innovation – Del Monte Fruit and Veggie Fusions.  These new delicious fruit and veggie cups are a tasty blend of lightly sweetened veggie and fruit juice in each cup of yummy fruit. There is no high fructose corn syrup or artificial colors or flavors, so you can feel good about that. It’s all the goodness of vegetables, but with the yumminess of fruit! The veggies are hidden in the lightly sweetened juice! (How clever is that?)

It’s a nutritious snack can help to bring out the “super” in your kids (or your whole family!)

Have your kids or grandkids tried these yet?

I’m a grandma and I can remember when I was a kid (even waaaay back then) my mom chose Del Monte products. I think they have been around for more than a century. Del Monte has recently developed these Fruit & Veggie Fusions that are perfect to keep in my pantry for a tasty, healthy snack when the kids come over. But if you have school age kids of your own, you can pack their lunchboxes with a nutritious fusion. The kids will have something that tastes good and you will feel good knowing you have given them something good for them too. Del Monte Fruit & Veggie Fusions can help nourish and energize kids to fuel them up for more “super moments!”

You can choose from the Peach Mango fruit cup, Cherry Fruit Trio and Apple Pear Watermelon. There’s something for everybody!

Del Monte wants to celebrate the super moments in kid’s lives, go to ShareTheSuper.com to share your  kids (or grandkids’) “super” moments for a chance to win some “super” prizes! The sweepstakes will run from August 10th through September 18th, 2015.
